Nasi Padang literally means rice from Padang, a place in West Sumatra, Indonesia. I love Nasi Padang but cannot take it on regular basis, too hot & spicy "bisa bikin perut jadik pusing".

Nowadays, it kinds of common and easy to find nasi padang restaurants in Malaysia especially Klang Valley. My favourite place was Sari Indah @ Alamanda. Good restaurant but the owner had to put down the business 2yrs ago maybe because of location. But now, I used to go to Sari Ratu @ Desa Pandan and just found another new restaurant Salero Negori @ Kelana Jaya.

Yesterday I went to newly open branch of Sari Ratu @ Kelana Jaya for dinner with Kaktah. Wow! big, clean and well decorated restaurant. Not many people because normally customer prefer to take away. Atter a while it was more & more people - malay, chinese and even indian came to dine.

We choosed "kari kepala ikan merah, sambal udang, pucuk ubi masak lemak, sambal terung and NO nasi padang should go without a sambal at least, sambal Mera & Ijo. To end up our yummylicious dinner, we ate our favourite, Es Teler as a dessert. You should try Es Teler. It has varieties of fruits, jackfruit, avocado, young coconut meat, sugar palm fruit, condensed milk & shaved ice. The fragrant from jackfruit is so wonderful.

Huh! Delicious nasi padang but more yummy if you eat them in the timeless way - using hands..emmm :-)
