Hey! you lovely lady!....me?...yes...you!,

♪♫♫ Happy birthday to you! ♫♫Happy birthday to you ♪♫♪♫ Happy birthday to you! ♪♫♪♫ Happy birthday to you! ♪♫♪♫ ☺

Ouwhh! thanks! Yes you are right! It is my birthday ☺ whewww!

Errrrkkk.....before that, this awesome celebration took place nearly two month ago....
Too busy larrrr to post this entry....heheheeee

I feel that I need to defend my joy at growing older. Who say I am too old to celebrate my own birthday? Are you kidding me? I deserve a birthday celebration [at least once a year] as an appreciation, a valuation & appraisal and a recognition of being a great me for this year and counting...lol

Thank you so much for the wonderful celebration. It was wonderful, indeed. Just wonderful!

...and off to Shangri-La I went for 3D2N. Yippiee!!! [again? huh!]

As usual, room was upgraded to executive, complimentary late check out at 5pm and of course with this super awesome view.

Tara!!!
I got a present. wawwiiee~~~ Head over heels! Wheeee... Thank you so very much!
Eagerly opened the present box, and ......................................

OMG! OMG! wooohooooo! adding up my Coco collections

Coco Perfume + Body lotion + Hair Mist + MAC cosmetics!

Although I was there to celebrate my birthday. Enjoyed and treasured every moment of it, but I had to work. Huh! This was very unfair o.O Since a day before Mr Boss kept calling me asking about the company trip. Have you got this, have you checked that....arghhhhhh! It was weekend + public holiday and my private time. I was sleeping at 3pm after a long heavy morning workout at gym and the phone rang.  I was in the middle of dinner,  the phone rang.  OMG!  I didn't answer and I received text  "Please answer my call!" with exclamation mark at the back...sigh

Thus, I was working from my hotel room on my birthday retreat. Great!  thank you for the birthday present Boss. I do love it. very much.......................................

One of my  favourite dining is at Lemon Garden @ Shangri-La and usually I had my 'heavy' birthday dinner here. Most of the year but this round,  I had it outside at Tamarind Hill,  5 minutes walk from the hotel and it was super super awesome.
So I stuffed my cute belly with daily breakfast here at the hotel like an elephant...hahahaaaa
and I was confused whether it was a breakfast, lunch or dinner...lol

I like this very much. Cracker, cheese and grapes....yumm..yummmm

Yeahh...I knew it was a birthday holiday, but workout was on as usual. When I said workout,  it meant daily work out okay....

The gym/fitness centre was empty!  Who cares to workout on holiday?  huh!
Hey! I do ☺...............and it feel great..... don't you know that?  You should try next time while you are on holiday.

My morning run. 3.8km for 38minutes. Not bad huh!

The gym instructor. Garang macam askar...but he's nice though...heheheee

Me! the Pienkcat ...heheheee

and ended my gym workout with steam bath and jacuzzi. Owh my! what a bless...

On one of the nights, I had sweet dinner at Scrumptious restaurant. Wheew!
It was a made to order menu. Thank u Chef! It was Delicious!

Haa!!! yang nie citer paling best nie...heheheeee
Rasanya this is my last entry kot about holiday kat Koh Samui nie. Nanti dah banyak sangat citer Koh Samui, naik juling plak mata cikjah dok baca...lol

Dari awal lagi, chek memang niat nak hire a motorbike. Senang nak jenjalan sini sana.  Kluar pukul baper pun tak kesah and boleh stop sini sana sesuka hati. Koh Samui nie hampir sama macam Bali  [tapi Bali best lagi lar] . Kalo slalu kat Ubud, Bali  tu chek memang sewa motorbike pun. Memang sangat mudah dan jimat. At Koh Samui motorbike rental rate is approx. RM20/day. Tapi chek dapat diskon RM18/day.  Chek sewa untuk 2 hari setengah.  Best sangat!  Isi minyak full tank about RM5.  Tahan 2 hari. Cukup pusing 1 pulau.

Amacam? ada gaya bawa motor? ahaks! heheheee
Tips kalo nak sewa motor tengok mileage yang sket. Physically masih baru and in good condition. Tapi motor kat sini banyak yang baru-baru. Kira sedap lar bawa. Vroom! vroom!! But the shop owner will keep your original passport as a guarantee.

Kalo family mat saleh lagi best, ayah hires satu motorbike naik with his son and the mother hires another motorbike with the daughter. Cute jar. Approximately for a Toyota Vios will cost you RM80-100/day.

Typical road at Samui.
Here they have a lot of colourful brochures, booklets, magazines with high quality printing widely available at airport, hotels, major restaurants & bars and etc for free!
So, memang sangat mudah kalo nak jalan sini sana tanpa tour guide. Highly recommend you map cap Essential.  Bagus!  Detailed and handy in size.

Singgah isi minyak sat near Choeng Mon. Pektis cakap Thai dengan adik isi minyak tu. Tanya dia dalam bahasa omputih kot-kot lar dia pandai reply

Me: This road go where? [speaking omputih with Thai must very straight foward. They hardly understand English]
Adik tu: urmmm....mmmmmmmm..............................................aaaaa.........mmmmmmm.... [dia nak jawab tapi tak terpacul bahasa omputih dari mulut dia...kumat kamit tanpa suara....kesian dia]
Me: Mai pen rai. kop koon   [aceh! speaking Thai lar...ahoks!!]

Adik tu terus senyum dan terkaku. Tak pasti pulak terkaku sebab chek cakap Thai atau dia tak paham chek cakap Thai tadi...hahahaaaaaa
Mai pen rai tu means nevermind...
kop koon tu means thank you...heheheeee

First destination.
Wat Plai Laem.

Sambung jenjalan lagi....vroomm! vrooommm! rempit penuh gaya tak hengat...hahahaaaaa
janji gojes!

Hua Thanon
Renowned for its Muslim Fishing Village. Famous for a handful of fresh seafood restaurants, but its main attraction lies in the ancient cultures of the local fishermen.

Some of them pandai berbahasa Melayu. Dari semenanjung tanah melayu, like Terengganu, Kelantan etc. Tapi dah banyak keturunan lar. Some boleh lar cakap ala-ala Patani gitew.

Bangrak Beach

Jeng! jeng! jeng!! singgah petshop nak belikan souvenier untuk my big fat lazy cat....heheheee

Kitten for sale! ishhh geram...

Lamai is the best area to stay kalo cikjah tak baper gemar akan kesibukan kota macam kat Chaweng. Kat sini lebih tenang,  night life pun kurang.  Pantai pun cantik.

Kalo sebut Thailand jar mesti sinonim dengan gajah kan?  Apalagi tak lepas peluang lar naik gajah.
Sebenarnya, sebelum datang lagi chek memang dah survey about elephant ride package yang bersesuaian.
The best place to go is Namuang Safari Park. Gajah treking kat tepi air terjun.
Tapi bila tengok banyak sangat packages jadi macam kelabu mata. Pilih punya pilih sudah tersalah pilih..... [tapi okay jugak lar cuma kureng berpuas hati and felt like being cheated]  Chek call buat reservation.  At 2pm depa mai jemput kat hotel and bawa ke safari depa. jeng!  jeng!  jeng!
Nebes...heheheeee...first time naik gajah. Awwwww!

My package was 1 hour elephant ride for RM110/adult.

Fuyyooo! Korean couple in front of me pun berlepas naik gajah.

and it came my turn.
Nebes taw naik gajah. Selawat, mengucap banyak-banyak wooo..Siap baca doa naik kenderaan.
Takut kalo-kalo gajah naik minyak! huhuhuuu
Ngeri lar naik gajah.

Ingatkan gajah nak kentut! huahuahuaaaa

Chek bertambah kesian kat gajah bila terpandang tool yang depa guna untuk pukul gajah supaya jalan.
Ouchhhh!!!
Walopun package chek 1 jam, after 20minutes, chek suruh 'gembala' gajah tu patah balik.
Chek tak sanggup nak teruskan perjalanan. Terasa amat kesian kat gajah itu...uhukkk...uhukkk...
and we turned back to the station.

Treking merentasi coconut plantation.

Pastu tengok elephant show pulak.
Oh no!!! I don't want and refuse to have it. Tapi kena paksa ...huh!  Gajah tu pijak-pijak badan kita dengan kaki dia. Pijak-pijak manja lar. Pastu with her trunk dia vacuum kat bahagian kaki dan tengkuk..Eiiii!!  geli lar!!!!

Monkey show.
I hate this!!! kesian kat monkeys tu. Penderaan terhadap hewan taw. Sebenarnya, chek tak pilih pun monkey show, tapi sebab tak dak orang, agent tu pelawa chek tengok skali.
Poor the monkeys!

Road at Nathon towards Seatrans Ferry Pier.

Beach at Chaweng Noi or South Chaweng in front of Impiana Resort.

Beach at South Chaweng in front of Centara Grand Beach Resort.

Beach at South Chaweng is good for swimming compared to North Chaweng.

Road to Lamai. Wooohooooo best!

Nak ke kiri....

To Grandmother & Grandfather rock.

Motor parking kena bayar RM1.

Tak nampak pung.....

Grandfather

Grandmother

meaow-meaooww Samui
Sawadee ka

Ini baru betul for elephant treking.  Namuang Safari Park.

Ini pulak tempat yang sangaaaaaaat best!!! Paradise Park Farm
Read about it on internet. Pastu ikut map datang ke sini. Satu pengembaraan yang sungguh hebat!

Crossing the military area.
Dari sini kena mendaki about 4km. Macam naik Bukit Tinggi lebih kurang.

Errrrkkk! .......betul ker ada paradise park kat atas ni? Tak macam paradise pun???

Aiyohhh!!!  Chek sebenarnya dah patah balik turun ke main road. Sebab sangat mencurigakan jalan ini.
Tanya kat one local guy. Dia kata betul. Boleh naik tapi kena hati-hati. Chek patah balik naik sekali lagi. Tiba-tiba abang yang chek tanya kat tepi jalan tadi datang. Beliau siap bagi motivation suruh bawa motor pelan-pelan. Pastu beliau tunggu until chek melepasi the disaster road. Ahaks! Kop Koon!!!

BIG and deep slope at the front there. Nampak macam jalan terputus!

Check this out!
Ada brannn??? Chek brannn...heheheeee

Tengok! ada landslide pulak tu....ouch!

Tapi pemandangan memang cantik. Nampak coconut plantation & gunung ganang sekeliling.

Melalui dusun durian. Baru tengah berbunga.

Whewww!!!! finally chek arrived! fuhh!!
Alhamdulillah. About 3 cars were parked there. Motor ada dalam 6-7 units. Depa sampai lagi awal lar.

Entrance fee nak masuk sini mahal sket. RM30/adult. Tapi sebab dah gigih berusaha mendaki bukit, masuk jugaklah...hahahaaa

Tak rugi bersusah payah naik ke sini. Cukup berbaloi! A must visit place.

Terubat rasa kecut perut mendaki. The birds are super super cute! colourful and friendly.
Once I entered the entrance gate, the aunty tukang jaga burung kat situ lambai-lambai kat chek.

Automatic the little birds came and landing on my hand and makan....owh! I was so excited like a kid! hahahaaaa

Erkkk...tiba-tiba ada soap opera plak...

In second cage. Feeding the bird with honey & lime drink

Tengok kaki burung merah tu....aceh! siap tendang kawan dia....

In the 3rd cage.
Feeding the bird with kuaci.

Colourful pigeons

They are so cute!

Hi! Meet the Sprite guys.

Bulu-nya kasar. Tapi beliau sangat suka di sikat.

This is Coca Cola.

Turun ke bawah ke area air terjun

Ada cabin

Ada swimming pool overlooking a magnificient view. So don't forget to bring your own towel & swimsuit okay

Huh! cik jah dah penat ker? Jom jenjalan ke Chaweng town at night plak. Jom Sopping!
Suasana malam di Chaweng town sama macam at Kuta. Happening. Along the Chaweng beach road ada banyak upscale restaurants & bars, kedai-kedai baju, leather shop selling high end handbags, massage parlors and etc.

Sungguh best! Cuma yang tak best ialah almost 80% sellers there are monopoly by Nepalese. They have been in Samui for so many years. They speak Thai fluently and they even eat Thai food. I don't really like them they all macam eksen-eksen sket. Nak bargain pun kedekut. You take it or leave it. Takdernya nak panggil-panggil balik...huhuhuuuu

Chaweng beach road at day time. Sunyi sepi. Almost of the shop opened around 11am or 1pm. They closed at 11.30pm everyday.

I bought yoga mat at very cheap price. Paling best because it is purple. Thai loves Purple very much. It means royalty, wealth & luxury. Kalo cikjah perasan, kat mana-mana ada colour purple.

Wawwwwieeee!!! terpandang jar payung nie terus jatuh hati. Mesti beli!
RM20 jar. Tak kesah nak bawa balik macam mana, janji beli dulu...heheheeee

Samui has a few Tesco lotus outlet.  Ada MakroBig C pun ada.
Chek sopping kat Tesco lotus sampai RM250.... Selalu sopping groceries jar kat Tesco sampai RM200 - RM300.

Tesco kat sini best.  Baju-baju yang dijual sumer berkonsepkan island.  Ada beach dress, beach sandal, beach hat, strawbag & etc.

Aiyooo!!!
Jom pi Spa!

Here in Samui ada banyak spa houses. I went to Magnolia Spa. Sebab dekat. Next to my resort jar. Jalan 20 langkah dah sampai. For me the standard here is just 3star out of 5.  Okay-okay jer...Best lagi my favourite spa,  Villamay kat Shah Alam tu.  As a spa-goers my opinion in terms of package price,  spa packages at Samui are slightly expensive. I could get better and longer hour packages cheaper at Villamay...heheheeee
Okay lar buat tipu-tipu. Tapi mahai lar sket.
Tapi chek tak kesah sangat...yang chek kesah ialah spa at Bali....heheheeee

At least I tried the Samui Spa.

Well? amacam? Tujuh hari tujuh malam dok berciter pasal Koh Samui....huh!
Best memang best. Dapat experience baru and learn new things about tempat orang. Do what local do eat what local eat..Chewah!!!

Terpulang lar kepada individu, some people may enjoy it and some people don't. Some people suka area town like Chaweng yang sibuk dengan nightlife,  loud music,  kereta,  motor keluar masuk and some people suka kat area yang tenang,  aman dan mendamaikan macam North or South Chaweng,  Lamai,  Choeng Mon dan etc.

Muka chek nie ada muka Thai kah? Masuk kedai,  masuk restaurant  terus depa speak Thai dengan chek....erkkk...sebab chek hitam lar tu...huhuhuuuu
Kalo cik putih mesti depa cakap omputih sebab ingatkan chek minah salih...cehhhh!! berangannn! ahaks!
Pergi jakarta pun depa ingat chek Jakartan...huahuahuuuu. Tapi nasib baik jugak jakartan, bukan dari sumatera kar, sulawesi kar, jogja kar....heheheeeee
Bila depa cakap Thai dengan chek,  maka dengan kembangnya chek membalas
"Mai koa chai.  Poot Thai mai dai"  cheewahh!
Terus depa say sorry....and tukar bahasa omputih  "owh! sorry...I thought you are Thai people....."
Mai kao chai.  Poot thai mai dai means I don't understand.  I can't speak Thai.

Sekarang nie chek tengah pulun dok tepek cream lancome kasi putih gebu macam selalu...ahaks!
Baru  nak rehat sket, lepas nie dah  nak kena start satu lagi  'project' baru plak....wooohooooo!!!!

Hope I have entertained and managed to give you some good information and tips on how to plan your trip to Koh Samui.  Happy holiday everyone!

I don't remember a witch ...but there was a black adorable cat who sat down beside me and told me that "I'm a cat who has strong legs, beautiful heart and the ♥ of thrills, I like to climb things - including hills. I ♥ pink and I ♥ cat and again the black cat told me that I'm a lovely friendly Pienkcat"
