Some people call it BUAH MELAKA and some call it ONDE-ONDE. Hemm...kuih wajib during fasting month.
Since I'm fasting today, why not we do buah melaka okey!
BUAH MELAKA OR ONDE-ONDE
Ingredients:
- Glutinous rice flour
- Screwpine/Pandan leaf(blended to get the juice)or green colouring
- Palm sugar (gula melaka) - cut into small cubes
- Coconut (grated and mix with a pinch of salt to taste)
Method:
1. Mix flour and pandan leave juice. Stir until the batter does not stick to the spoon
2. Add in filling -palm sugar in the middle and shape into small ball about the size
of a thumb.
3. Boil the water
4. Add done onde-onde into the boiling water. It will float once it's cook
5. Strain and coat the cooked onde-onde with grated coconut
6. Serve :-)
