- 2cups wheat flour
- 2tsp custard flour
- 3tsp evaporated milk
- dash of salt
- 2.5cups water
Mix well all the above ingredients with blender.
note: please make sure that the batter is not to thick or too thin!
and of course roti jala goes well with chicken curry!urrmmm..nyumm.nyummmm...
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts - cut into small pieces
- 1cup coconut milk
- Curry leaves
- 1cm ginger + 1cm galangal + 2shallots + 2cloves garlic - blended and mix with curry powder
- 2 potatoes - cut into small cubes
- 1 tomato - cut into small cubes
Method:
- Fry shallot + garlic + curry leaves until fragrant
- Add mixture of curry powder. Cook for 5minutes
- Add pieces of chicken, tomatoes and potatoes and cook for another 3 minutes
- Add coconut milk, salt & sugar to taste and simmer above slow heat for 15minutes. Add water if necessary.
- Finally, add basil leaves & bird chilies for more flavour.
note: Cook until tomatoes become very soft so that you will get a flavourful & thick superb chicken curry.
