Yeyyy!!! makan makan :)
This year birthday dinner was held at the same awesome place like last year - The Tamarind Restaurant. Just 5 minutes on foot from Shangri-La. Terus teringat memori daun pisang di kala sekumpulan dorkie chayanunalif cuba mencuri my cheap transparent umbrella...huh!
Tamarind consist of 2 restaurants. One is Tamarind Neo - serves fusion Thai and the other one is Tamarind Hill - serves authentic Thai.
Last year I dined at fabulous balcony seating at Tamarind Neo sebab at that time Tamarind Hill masih lagi under renovation. Maka this round jom walking up slightly further to Tamarind Hill.

Nice outdoor seating. Kelam-kelam romantis gitu...hahaa
Namun.... walopun dingin malam, kami hangat berpeluh-peluh cikjah oii!
Kawasan luas tapi rekaan dalaman yang kurang praktikal di mana bumbung dan hampir keseluruhan dinding dilitupi dinding walopun berkonsepkan outdoor menyebabkan angin tak dapat masuk. Kipas hangin pun ada 2 saja berdekatan dengan pintu dan tak dapat meliputi keseluruhan kawasan outdoor. Huh!
Seriously serius sangat panass. Aiyaa!
Ingatkan kami jar yang panass, rupanya banyak lagi patron at other tables dok komplen panas. Finally they moved to indoor which has AC.
The reason why I chose outside table beside the lovely seating area ialah untuk ber-lepak, ber-santai dan ber-chill out ...uh!...uh!
Hence, selepas selesai main course kami pindah ke meja yang berhampiran dengan kipas.
Baru nyaman....
Psttt! hope the restaurant management will install more wall fans soon...panas lar bang...heheee
The food was delicious! However, no beef green curry - my fav.
I ordered chicken green curry instead.
Asal dine out at Thai restaurant mesti nak order steamed fish, so this round I gave a try to this grilled Tuna with Mango Sauce. Owh! my....delish!

Super awesome! Ada fried banana with honey - Sticky mango rice - Steamed pumpkin - Ice cream.
I've waited nearly 15 minutes [sempat lar puyut kembali kempess....hahaaa] for the RM40 dessert to be served tetapi tempoh penantian itu cukup berbaloi. Super Lazat!!!
Dah kenyang dan happy kami berjalan kaki pulang ke Shangri-La. Jalan-jalan sekitar Jalan Sultan Ismail sambil menikmati 'cerianya' Kuala Lumpur di waktu malam.
