This is my first time trying to bake a crumble. And I start with Cherry crumble! :)
Nyumm..nyummm...and I found that it was quite easy and almost similar like baking a pie..LOL

Of course we need cherries to make a cherry crumble ;) BTW, instead of cherries, you can use chopped apples or berries.

Pssttt!psttt!tapi nak habaq mai la kan, mahai tau nak beli buah-buahan luar negeri ni :P sekali ssekala boleh lar kalau teringin nak buat kan? Tapi kalo dah beli tu, buat betul2, bagi jadik...nanti rugi...huhuuuu
Maybe nanti chek cuba try buat rambutan crumble...sedap dah tentu, murah semestinya :D

1) Well, now lets start baking the crumble. But before that please let me tell you that I am using a prebaked shortcrust pastry as the base and you don't have to follow step 1, 2 and 3 if you are using none (btw, original recipe doesn't use any base for baking a crumble pie).

2) Layer the pastry on the ovenproof dish and bake for 20 minutes.

3) Removed from the oven and leave to cool.

4) Place the cherries on the pastry and scatter over the sugar and apple juice.

5) In a bowl, rub the butter into the flour with your fingertips until the mixture resembles rough breadcrumbs. Stir in caster sugar.

6) Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the cherries and bake under 180C for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.

7) Finally, cherry crumble is done!

I like this dish! It's beautiful, delicious and quite simple to prepare :)
well, happy trying! ~~~~.^
