My interest on English novels started way back when I was at secondary school. During primary school I was more interested on malay fiction story books. [masa tu blum terer cakap omputih sangat..ahaks! kalo baca pun x baper nak proses :P] Citer2 detektif gitew. I have numerous books collection of Nancy Drew in bahasa malaysia [Siti Salma] Best! 1/2 day jer dah habis satu buku :)
Dulu at my housing area ada satu mini library organized by pusat belia. About 3minutes on foot from my home. Sampai kakak library tu kadang2 mai rumah cek sebab nak abaq buku library dah over due, bila nak pulangkan? heheheee
Tapi seingat cek lar kan, ada banyak buah jugak lar buku2 library tu akhirnya menjadi hakmilik tetap cek...heheeee [minta halal yer...sebab library dah tutup]

Bila dah masuk secondary school, I guess I met & mixed with friends yang juga suker baca english novels-so we shared books & stories, pastu ada huge english novel collections at our own school library and most of my english teachers were young overseas graduate yang cakap omputih mak aii! berayaqq. So, bila time mengajar tu sometimes depa selitkan pengalaman depa masa kat States & UK...siokknyer dengaq :)
Then, dedulu tu kalo dating -kat mana? heheee..mesti lar kat state library..ahukk! takkan nak baca malay novel kot? nampak sangat cek ni romantika cintan d'amor..so, hang out kat english novels section lar...HAHAAA :DDD

So, from there my interest started to grow slowly and I'm glad I am still doing it :)

some of my uncle sidney books. LOVE it so much! guarded by my balinese cats :P

On top of that, my brother selalu jugak collect left behind novels by mat salleh on the planes and passed them to me...heheeee [buku free]

mix authors. My interest is on Luanne Rice, Danielle Steel, Sandra Brown etc

It was definitely a big help at that time, almaklumlah, masa tu pocket allowances pun ciput2 jer [kalo lebih pun cukup beli kacang botak jer..ahaks!], nak beli buku-buku citer nie mana lar mampu. Buku citer omputih plak mahei sket. Tambah pulak, kat kampung dulu tu, mana ada kedai payless bookshop macam kat sini..ahokks! So, dari 5 buah buku, it became 10, then 15 then 20 and sampai lah sekarang dah fenuh lemari.
Then, for the past 2years, I started my hardcover english novel. WeEEeEEe!
I guess because they are gorgeous! [well, cik jah tahu lar kan...i kan giler gojes giles]

They are worth while to have in collection sebab bila dah susun kat shelves to nampak santek, kemas & english sangat :) "if i can't go to london, i'll bring london to me" aceh! kwang! kwang! kwang!

These are hardcover non-novel books of mine and I all these. They are precious present to me!

Anyway, last week I got myself 6 hardcover english novels and I'm done one of them and have 5 more to go! WoW! it sounds so far far away to complete all these but i know i'm gonna finish all these sometime soon :)

Hurmmm...my paperback collections pun masih ada 4-5 buah blum baca and most of them are uncle Sid's. Well....I'll find some time for that too..aha! :-B

Actually I do feel happy having unread books at home because whenever I feel like to read, I have one [or more]! YeyY! and rasa gelisah & susah hati pulak kalo sumer buku dah abes baca...huhuuuu O.O

Reading nie best sebenarnya! Kalau cik jah baca, fahami dan selami each and every sentences line by line, uishhh! so floral and rasa macam tengok tiffi [tv the way krisdayanti says] BEST! Sampai bila nak break sekejap pun rasa sayang. Kalo bulih nak habiskan satu buku cepat2 :)

Tapi yang herannya, baca novel english dah berkepuk2, tapi my english blum sampai tahap berabuk! :P lol

Lepas nie, kalo cek tak berjaya menjadi tukang masak hebat, nampak gayanya jadi tukang jahit pun boleh lah...lol ^__________^
