After one and a half month kami berehat dari sebarang workout at gym sempena puasa dan raya, kini kami kembali hitting the gym. Owh yeahh!!! Rasa sangat teruja dan best giles dapat kembali kepada my workout routines.

To warm up my body yang sedang sunyi sepi nie kami started with cardio - mesti lar with high intensity cycling. Sungguh pun tahap metabolisma badan menurun hampir 30% tapi Alhamdulillah kami survived the 50 minutes cycling class dengan jayanya.  Cuma tahap pernafasan tu sedikit lemah, slightly panting maklumlah cuti panjang.

To get my body ready for my yoga routines kami continued with gentle flow yoga session for 1 hour. Fuhh! kalo cikjah tertanya-tanya bagaimana rasanya kalo stop yoga for 2 months dan sambung semula, maka jawapannya ialah rasa seperti baru bermula! hahaaa

Muscles macam degil dan nakal sket. Tak leh nak hold pose dalam tempoh yang lama. Rasa burning sangat. Esoknya tu nahhh rasakan....muscles soreness sini sana. Tapi tak teruk lah. Mild and bearable. I had fun anyway.

The following day skali lagi kami repeat another 50 minutes high intensity cycling class and I did good. Already back to track. Weehooo!
To spice up the day, I continued with the most awaited hard core yoga session for another hour. Survived and thanks to my yoga master because he conducted the class with back to basic and no big poses - so, it was kind of refreshing session for me. Happy!

On the third day, I had another hour of yoga session. Amazingly I did super good although been away nearly two months! So proud of my Sirsasana or Headstand pose.

Today is the fourth day and it is my rest day. Tomorrow I'll start early with two hours of aerial yoga and cardio before resting on weekend.

I guess kami berjaya harungi 'cuti bersenam' dengan tenang walopun badan kami meronta-ronta mahukan adrenaline and endorphins. Alhamdulillah syukur adanya Ramadhan. Salah satu kebaikkan berpuasa di bulan Ramadhan ialah kita berpeluang merehatkan organ dan otot-otot di dalam badan yang setia berkhidmat tanpa henti untuk kita sehari-hari. Dari segi jasmani, puasa akan membuatkan badan rasa lebih bersih, lebih ringan dan lebih lebih bertenaga. Bonus untuk kami sebab turun banyak kilo and officially underweight at 45kg. Hinggakan kakyam kat gym cakap kami cuti workout sebab pegi slimming center....hahaaaa....never in my life nak pi tabur duit kat slimming center. Baik tabur duit kat gym...heheee

Tapi losing weight itu adalah strategi kami supaya raya nanti kami bleh makan lebih sket. Maklumlah ketupat, lemang, rendang, laksa, lontong, mee kari, bihun sup, nasi tomato, nasi minyak and many more yang setia menanti - Ahaks!
Lagipun kalo lepas raya naik 1 - 2 kg masih okay lagi, maksudnya kami dah kembali ke-ideal weight.

As a celebration of my comeback to workout routines, kami bawa kuih raya for my yogi friends. Happy yoga!
