How many movies you watch @ cinema in a month? Myself? consider frequent but it depends on what kind of movie to watch. At least 2-3times a month. TGV, GSC or Cathay? Hemm personally I prefer GSC because of their big and comfy seats. I've been to Cineleisure once but that was last & final. I can't even sit still on their seat. TGV - maybe because it's quite old cinemas, sometimes them smell weird..uhukkkk
(no bias in this opinion :-P)

Eversince GSC @ One Utama has been opened, it becomes my first choice to watch movie. Furthermore since GSC introducing their E-Payment ticket, I've forgot how to queue to buy a ticket at the counter LoL. Super convenient and I always got back row middle seat ! Yeah :-P

Until few months back, GSC had launched their new innovative boutique cinema concept with only Gold Class and Premiere Class halls in The Gardens, Mid Valley to cater to the evolving taste of its cinema-goers under the branding “GSC Signature”.

I decided to give a try. WoW! everything at the Gardens is premier and so does Signature. Situated at 4th floor same wing as Robinson, it has only 7-screens (2Gold + 5Premier) with total seats of 558. Ticket price for Premiere Class is between RM15-RM20 per seat subject to T&C while cost of each GSC Signature Gold Class package (will cover the soft drink, movie and complimentary use of blanket and pillow) is RM60. Hall will be opened 10 minutes before show and very less stupid idiot commercials and movie is airing on time!
For me when it comes to watching movies there's few important things to take into account:

- NO smelly socks & shoes..yarrckkkk!,
- NO HP like u are the only one in this world who's having HP,
- NO repeating dialogue like you are the director of that film,
- NO kissing-missing in the cinema please! It sucks & stupid. Exactly like zero brain wildlife in the middle of green field - guys! better go home larrrr!...AND
- It's ok if you are terribly slow pick up person as nobody knows -just watch & ask later ok!

Where to eat? hemmm ..

Last Friday I had my head turned down because of thinking where to eat. Almaklumlah puasa...
I felt like I could eat an elephant :-P

Then, suddenly I thougt about Halia Restaurant @ Sime Darby CC, Bukit Kiara. I did have my lunch there with my office that day..so I just called up and make a reservation. Reached there - Hey! not bad you know. It was only RM35++/pax and it was BBQ Buffet Dinner with live band (Band only on Friday-Sunday). The restaurant also not too crowded, just nice to enjoy my meal.

The buffet spread was very limited but very very presentable and delicious. After all how much you could eat though. They had brocolli soup served with warm bread, salad bar with baked potato with sour cream & corn on the cob, kebab counter, Mongolian BBQ counter where you could pick your own ingredients and get the cheff to cook for you (like Marche) and the most interesting and I like was walking waiters/servers with skewers from table to table offering you Brazilian Barbeque of grilled chicken breast wrapped with beef bacon, grilled beef, drumet or chicken sausages. Emmmm..so yummy! They also have more than 10 varieties of lovely signature dessert to choose from, few choices of ice cream flavour and hot coffee or tea.

Interested to try this new indulgence? Do drop by as they open daily from 6-10pm...happy eating!

Every meal must come with at least 1 veggie dish. To complete my lunch menu; Ayam Goreng Tumbar Jintan & Sambal Tumis Sotong, I cooked Stir-Fried Luffa (Petola Goreng), another tasty dish yet so simple to cook.

STIR-FRIED LUFFA/PETOLA

Ingredients:

- Luffa - skinned & cut diagonally into 2cm pieces
- Shallots, garlic, dried shrimp, bird chillies (if you like hot) - pounded
- Chicken stock
- Corn flour - mix with water
- Sugar & salt to taste

Method:

1. Heat the oil in a wok
2. Stir in the pounded ingredients until fragrant & golden brown
3. Add the chicken stock, followed by the sliced luffa, sugar & salt to taste
4. Reduce the heat and cover the wok to soften in the steam for a few minutes
5. Add corn flour to thicken the gravy
6. Remove the heat and serve while hot! emmmm delicious :-P

Alright then, my lunch is finally ready..got to go chiowwwww!

TUMIS means "to fry" till an aroma comes out and SAMBAL TUMIS means ingredients of chili fried with belacan shrimp paste, onions, garlic & tamarind juice.

SAMBAL TUMIS SOTONG

Ingredients:
- Squids
- Dry Chilies (boil & finely blended with tamarind & shrimp paste)
- Onions, garlic (finely blended)
- Tamarind juice
- Water
- Sugar & salt to taste

Method:
1. Cut the cleaned squid tube into rings
2. Heat the oil and fry the blended onions and garlic until fragrant
3. Add blended chillies. Stir thoroughly to almost dry
4. Add tamarind juice, water (not too much!), sugar & salt to taste.
Cook until the sambal has thickened and a layer of oil on the surface - This will
ensure the sambal will lasting for 2-3 days :-)
5. Add squids. At this time squid will produce additional gravy into the sambal.
Again cook until it almost dry but don't overcook the squids or it becomes
toughs
6. Remove & serve

It's Sunday and I'm quite free today. Maybe because I've done with all the shopping few weeks back @ Isetan. Furthermore I don't really like shopping on weekend if it's not necessary. Too pack & crowded. Can't even think what to choose & buy..I prefer a picnic or few rounds running at my favourite park..but not today since I could see heavy clouds began to cover the sun.

Well, let's cook something super delicious....and you won't regret...

I don't remember a witch ...but there was a black adorable cat who sat down beside me and told me that "I'm a cat who has strong legs, beautiful heart and the ♥ of thrills, I like to climb things - including hills. I ♥ pink and I ♥ cat and again the black cat told me that I'm a lovely friendly Pienkcat"
